Our cold processed, small batch soaps contain all organic fair-trade ingredients that are vegan and cruelty free that are simply better for your skin. Thoughtful care goes into each of the luxuriously hand wrapped bars. Care and quality are reflected in every detail. Our passionate commitment to environmental protection is supported by using local suppliers for ingredients including our Long Island honey and salt. We use minimal eco-friendly packaging that is a fully sustainable resource!

We are a 5th generation family farm. We hand make all of our lavender products which include soap, creams, lotion, bath salt, linen spray, lip balm, eye pillows, dried lavender bundles, and candles. We hand paint glass vases with a specially designed lavender motif. A perfect compliment to your fresh or dried lavender bouquet.

Portside Suds features handmade cold process soaps with unique, bold designs and a smell for every nose. We strive to be as low waste as possible, do not use plastic packaging, and aim to use things like upcycled craft paper for wrapping our bars as often as we can.

Pure Ingredients, Pure Promise: We meticulously source only pure, all-natural, and organic ingredients for each product. If an ingredient or essential oil is unavailable, we pause production, ensuring that every creation meets our high standards. Our dedication to ingredient purity is the cornerstone of our commitment to you.

All soaps and skin care products are handmade, packaged, and inspected by Dr. G using the ancient cold process technique. We pride ourselves on using the most natural, organic and sustainably sourced ingredients that DO NOT include chemical detergents, synthetic lathering agents, parabens, phthalates, or sulphates. Dr. Gitto uses her extensive herbal knowledge to curate soaps based on skin type and individual need.
